Making your own BBQ sauce is easy to do and much better than what comes out of a store bought bottle. This Mango Chipotle BBQ sauce recipe goes great on smoked ribs, roasted chicken, and even chipotle flavored burritos. I found a similar sauce at a grocery store called Trader Joes. I don't live anywhere near a Trader Joes and the bottle quickly ran out. I had no other choice but to experiment and make my own. This sauce is different than the one from the store, but it tastes great and everyone loves it. Warning: Chipotle peppers have a kick and this can be too spicy for some. Feel free to add more or less chipotle to meet your taste preferences. Recipe: 1 Cup chopped mango (about 2 whole mangos) 3/4 Ketchup 1 Tbsp Pineapple Juice Concentrate 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce 1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar 2 chipotle peppers (usually comes in a can) Blend all of the ingredients in a food processor and store in the fridge for up to a week. That is, if it lasts that long!
