Here's my short instructions...

  1. Press & hold the Keyboard "Shift" button Press & Hold Shift
  1. Right-Click on the iTunes icon
  1. From the drop-down list.. Select: "OPEN" drop-down list
  1. An iTunes info box should appear, Shown Here... An iTunes info box should appear
  1. Click.. "Choose Library"
  1. Now you can navigate to your External HDD, where the iTunes lbrary is located
  1. Find the iTunes file called "iTunes Library.itl"
  1. Select THAT FILE ONLY!!
  1. That's it! iTunes will now read everything from in & from that iTunes Library
