How to Re-Connect your iTunes library (Located On an External HDD)
to a fresh install of the iTunes App.

Example : After you Wipe & Re-Install Windows

Here's my short instructions...

  1. Press & hold the Keyboard "Shift" button
    Press & Hold Shift jpgClick HERE for picture: Large View
  1. Right-Click on the iTunes icon
  1. From the drop-down list.. Select: "OPEN"
    drop-down list
  1. An iTunes info box should appear, Shown Here...

  1. Click.. "Choose Library"

  1. Now you can navigate to your External HDD, where the iTunes lbrary is located
  1. Find the iTunes file called "iTunes Library.itl"
    Select_NEW_iTunes_Lib_File.jpg 8. Select THAT FILE ONLY!!
  1. That's it!
    iTunes will now read everything from in & from that iTunes Library
